Biography
CLEANIMAGE 800.752.4981
From an early age my father always encouraged me to become an entrepreneur and taught me that in America, anything is possible. I started out like many others, working out of the back of my Isuzu trooper with very little information but an eagerness to try. At 16, my father took me to Home Depot to purchase my first pressure washer, a Briggs and Stratton.I passed out flyers door to door, printed out business cards on my computer and slowly learned some marketing skills through a lot of trial and error! I started out with the name Pure Pressure Wash in Pawleys Island South Carolina and was successful enough that I was locally known as a young entrepreneur. I focused on residential cleaning and later branched into the commercial end of the pressure washing industry. Over time, I gained respect in the community and began to grow a respectable client base, and by the age of eighteen I had 2 full time employees and things were good.
After a pretty severe accident I nearly totaled my nice new GMC 2500 HD pickup truck. My license was suspended for 6 months and the bills just kept coming in. But with the support of my wife and family I managed to slowly regain what I had lost and I was able to rebuild the company again and learn from some of the mistakes I made the first time. With the company growing stronger, new possibilities became available and I decided to expand our operations up the East Coast. My new bride and I decided we were going to move to Montgomery County, MD to pursue a new venture in contract cleaning. We have managed to double our previous year’s sales and expand into new markets as Clean Image Pressure Washing, LLC. I am eternally grateful for my wife’s support and dedication to my goals and ambitions. 2009 was a new opportunity and with it came more contracts. My wife worked with me washing trucks at night and heavy “greasy” equipment during the day (Tough women). We began to network and attend industry events and round tables. This was a defining moment in my career when I fell in love with the industry and its people. CIPW was growing and I was finally able to spend a little money on marketing. The Residential side was picking up while I was traveling the east coast doing commercial work such as shopping centers and condominiums. I was voted in to serve as the secretary of an up and coming organization called the United Association of Mobile Contract Cleaners. I now serve on a national scale helping to form Best Management practices and putting contractors together to network train and certify pressure washing companies in the mobile cleaning industry. I currently reside in Pawleys Island, SC. and serve the Grand Strand with pride.
